Description
  • Atkins was appointed by the OPW in 2003 to provide civil and structural engineering services for the development of the new Cobh Social Welfare Offices. The offices were to be created by renovating the existing Cobh Customs House and by adding a multi-storey reinforced concrete frame extension including a first floor walkway between the old and the new buildings. Atkins was also responsible for advising the OPW on building conservation issues.
