- Atkins, as part of the Northconsult team, was responsible for the concept and detailed design through to the construction of the new M1 Toll Plaza, which is located on the M1 Motorway south of Drogheda. Our Engineering Team was responsible for design of 30m long and 10m high lattice tubular arch supports as well as reinforced concrete design and details for the administration building, access tunnel and support frame for the 9.5m high free-standing gabion wall system. Full civil services were also provided.
